Hi! I’m Megan, and I believe that every child deserves a "bright" start to their musical journey.

As a mother of three young children myself, I know how precious these early years are. I also know that music education is often missing from our schools until much later in life. I founded Bright Notes Kids to bridge that gap- creating a joyful, safe, and expert-led space where young children and their grown-ups can grow together through the power of music.

My Background & Experience

I bring over a decade of professional experience to every class. With a Bachelor’s in Music Education from the University of the Pacific, a California Teachers Credential, and a Master’s in Educational Technology from Concordia University, Irvine, I’ve spent 10 years in elementary and middle school classrooms teaching everything from choir and band to ukulele and musical theatre.

My goal is to take that professional pedagogy and wrap it in an environment of pure joy. Whether we are exploring early music literacy in our general classes or nurturing faith through song in our Christian-based program, your child will be supported by a curriculum designed to foster a lifelong love of music.
